New Students - Documents Required for Registration

Registration takes place on the first day of the program. In order to register you will fill in a registration form and provide the documents listed below for copying. Once these forms have been collected and processed (usually within a day or two) you will receive a temporary “Semester Ticket.” This ticket, when accompanied by a valid form of identification, will enable you to travel for free throughout the Berlin public transportation system. It will also enable you to receive reduced prices at the student cafeteria (also called the “Mensa.).You will receive the actual semester ticket a few weeks later in the mail.

In order for you to register at the Charité you must bring the following documents with you on the first day of the program.

· Exmatriculation
  (only for students who have studied at a German university)
· Health Insurance Documentation
· Diplomas
· Transcripts
· Payment Verification
· Language Test Documentation
· Passport (for international students only)
· DAAD Scholarship Recipients
