You can either send an original or a certified copy. It is also possible to electronically scan an original of this document and send it by email. However, before you can actually matriculate as a student you must also show a hard copy (original or certified copy) of this document.

Please note, all application materials we receive must have the same first name (given name) and last name (family name or Surname). We cannot process application materials which arrive with variations of the candidates name. Please also make sure that any email contact you have with the program includes the correct prefix (Mr., Dr., or Ms.) first, then your first name, and then your last name. For example, "Ms. Naomi Weizenbaum". Hyphenated last names are not a problem as long as ALL application documents appear with both portions and the hyphen.
