Who should apply?

The master's program in molecular medicine is designed for students who wish to study the molecular biology of disease from both a research and a clinical perspective. The ideal candidate should have completed one of the following:

· a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)   in a related scientific discipline   such as molecular medicine, biology, or biochemistry.
· a German “Diplom” in a related scientific discipline.
· medical school.

Related scientific disciplines can also include bioinformatics, biotechnology, pharmacy, chemistry, genetics, and a number of other different subject areas. For more information regarding your suitability for the program and whether you are eligible to apply or not, please click here.

In addition, because the program is conducted in English, non-native English speakers must demonstrate a sufficient command of the language. For more information about the English language requirements please click here.

Important: It is not necessary to have your actual diploma or leaving certificate at the time you apply. It is only necessary to have it by the time our program begins (in October). If you are accepted to the program it is under the condition that you will graduate from your current program successfully.
